Alex May DDS Dr. Alex May was raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi after graduating high school he felt a call to volunteer in Bogota, Colombia, where he lived for almost 2 years helping the misfortunate. Upon returning home he graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a major in Biological Science and continued his studies at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry from 2012 through 2016 where he earned his dental degree. Since graduating his gentle & welcoming personality combined with his unyielding dental precision make him a favorite among many patients. In 2021, Dr. May took his skills to the next level when he completed the Biomimetic Mastership program from the Alleman Center for Biomimetic Dentistry - a year long intensive program focusing on minimally invasive, 21st century dental procedures with an emphasis on mimicking nature, reducing pain, and preventing root canals and tooth loss. He continues to actively engage in continuing education to ensure his patients are getting the best treatment available. Dr. May met his wife at church while both were playing on the worship team. Dr. May is a musician and is proficient in multiple instruments. Dr. May and his wife are the proud parents of 2 amazing kids along with several comical pets. When he isn’t doing dentistry or playing music, he enjoys spending time with family, friends, playing and watching sports, video games, and reading. Dr. May and his family are members of Generation Church in Mesa where they volunteer regularly. |
